The South Gippsland Specialist School Parents & Friends Association (PFA) is a supportive parent network open to all families in our school community.
Our main goal is to support and promote the welfare of the South Gippsland Specialist School community.
By engaging in our PFA, families can provide strong examples to their children on the benefits of participating and volunteering within a larger community, at the same time sending positive messages of the value we place on their education.
We work in cooperation with the principal and the school council to:
contribute to the wellbeing of the school community.
encourage the participation of all parents in the life of the school and the education of their children.
provide opportunities for parents to get to know each other and be informed about or school.
provide opportunities for parents to extend their understanding of school operations, and general education policy.
contribute to proposals on school policy and other educational issues (as identified or discussed with the principal or school council)
